Summer Camp News
And just like that, it’s SUMMER! From June 5th through July 28th, this place is going to be VERY busy! We have 11 Specialty Programs in the areas of Academics, Arts, & Athletics, as well as 8 full weeks of Summer Day Camp! And at summer camp this year, we are going to be swimming in our newly renovated pool! And BIG NEWS! We are on the Hula Hot List! We have been “picked” by Hulafrog, the ultimate guide to local events and activities for children! Check it out right here: https://bit.ly/2nDqTOi We have also tweaked a few areas of the registration process that needed adjusting. For instance, you will need to register for Summer Day Camp by the week, instead of the option of registering for the whole summer at once. That way, if you know you’ll be missing a week for vacation, simply do not register for that week. Also, if you decide to add a Specialty Program to your child’s summer, it can be done with just a few clicks. The “activity fee” has been built into the weekly fees, and this will include camp T-shirts and field trips. The only fee paid, other than your weekly tuition, would be a “one time” $40 registration fee, which covers any and ALL programs in which your camper participates. Please find a full listing of programs/camps being offered this summer for grades K – 12th by clicking here. When you are ready to register, simply go to www.savcps.com and click on “Summer Program” to get started. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at dstembridge@savcps.com! Happy to help assist you in making your camper’s summer unforgettable! Blessings, Donna Stembridge
Special Summer Happenings
The “End of the Year” teacher luncheon was held on Thursday, June 1st. The staff said good-bye to Dr. Palmer and Mrs. Lingle. The Enrichment Team gave Mrs. Lingle a beautiful piece of art with a verse. Dr. Palmer received a quilt made by Connie Chambers and signed by all the staff and faculty. The office staff also spelled out P-A-L-M-E-R with words describing her.
