National Science Bowl is a nationwide academic competition sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy that tests students’ knowledge in all areas of science and mathematics. Two Upper School teams participated in the sub-regional Science Bowl tournament January 30, hosted by Armstrong State University.  The SCPS team of Sam Bignault (captain), Julie Petrillo, Matthew Carpenter, Blake Chance and Jacob Wigand placed 1st in the competition and will advance to the state competition in late February.  Savannah Christian’s second team was lead by captain Barrett McDonald with members Camila Quintero, Jackson Turner, Avery Hutton, and Harry Meyer.   Congratulations to both teams for their hard work this year in preparing for competition and representing Savannah Christian Preparatory School.2016 Team I 2016 Team II
