The baseball team had a successful regular season. They played with determination, endurance, and pushed passed the tough games and daunting rivals. As the season came to a close, the team possessed a new found determination to finish out the season. Upon the death of Coach Carter’s wife, the last game of the regular season against cross town rival, Calvary Day, was dedicated to her as the field was branded with her initials behind home plate. Although they lost the intense season closing game, the boys just wanted to have fun no matter win or lose and vowed to dedicate their playoff season to Coach Carter’s beloved wife. While competing in the playoff games, the team started off with a promising victory of 10-0 against Mount Paran and made it to the third round of playoffs, but unfortunately fell short against Tattnall Square Academy
