Athletic Event Changes
As we return to school following Hurricane Matthew, there have been several changes to the scheduling of athletic events and homecoming related activities. Please note these changes:
Tuesday, 18 October – Our Area Champion Lady Raiders Volleyball Team will host Round 1 of the State Tournament at the Eckburg Arena. Match Time is 6 PM against Mount Vernon.
Wednesday, 19 October – Homecoming Football Game / Homecoming Spirit Shirt Day / Service Project
The Middle School and Lower School will join the Upper School for a joint Service Project prior to a Pep Rally in the Pecan Grove. US Dismissal at 2:15 PM
SCPS will host Claxton High School @ Pooler Stadium. Game Time: 6:00 PM
Homecoming Court at Half-Time
Thursday, 20 October – 2nd Round State Volleyball
Saturday, 22 October – 3rd Round State Volleyball
Monday, 24 October – Football/Cheerleading/Band Senior Night
SCPS will host Savannah Country Day @ Pooler Stadium. Game Time 6:30 PM.
Senior Night Activities will occur before the Game
Saturday, 29 October – Football away vs. Portal High School. Game Time 11:00 AM.
PSAT Day
The PSAT will be given to 9th, 10th and 11th grades on Wednesday, 19 October. The Seniors have Late In. The Senior Class will meet with Dr. Harmon @ 12 Noon in the US Gym. Following the PSAT, lunch will be served with the Middle School prior to the Homecoming Service Project and the Pep Rally. US dismissal will be at 2:15 PM.
