Summer Camp

Welcome to Camp RED!

Camp RED is a summer day camp for rising kindergarteners through rising 6th graders in Savannah, GA, and the surrounding areas. The camp is hosted on the 200-acre property of Savannah Christian Preparatory School, which began as a summer camp in 1951. The environment we create at Camp RED is filled with fun activities and challenges children to grow in faith and character.

Camp Red's simple purpose is to provide Radically Exciting Days for our campers! This is done in an encouraging environment, with counselors who care about children and want our campers to have a wonderful summer experience.

In addition to our day camp, specialty camps are also available. We offer athletic, academic, and artistic specialty day camps every week! There is something for everyone!

Returning Camper Registration

Registration and Fees

Deposit: $50 per camper (non-refundable)
Camp RED (6:30 am - 6:00 pm): $325/week
Half-Day Specialty Only: $200/week (due in full at the time of registration)
Camp RED + Half-Day Specialty: $375/week
Double Specialty + Camp RED: $450/week

During the registration process, you can select the pay in full option or enroll in autopay for Camp RED weekly fees.

Sibling discount of 10% per week per additional child.

Monday, February 2, at 6 pm: Registration opens for current SCPS families
Monday, February 16: Registration opens for previous, non-SCPS campers.
Monday, March 2: Registration opens to the general public

Dedicated Staff

All of our Camp RED staff are CPR and First Aid-certified and complete 15 hours of pre-camp training to ensure a safe, supportive, and fun experience for every camper. During swim time, two certified lifeguards are always on duty, watching over all age groups with care.
Camper Experience

Camp RED fees include delicious hot and cold lunches prepared by a certified chef, two daily snacks, exciting field trips, a camp t-shirt, and a full day of fun-filled activities, including time to splash and swim in our pool!
Specialty Camps

We offer a wide variety of athletic, academic, and artistic specialty day camps each week, giving campers the chance to explore new interests and discover what they love. With more than 30 specialty camp sessions available, there’s truly something for everyone!
