Savannah Christian Preparatory School is pleased to announce that senior Samuel Rahn Bignault has been named a 2016 National Merit Finalist.  Sam was previously a semifinalist and has advanced to the final round of review where his academic scores, achievement, school curriculum and activities will be reviewed to determine if he will be awarded a National Merit Scholarship.  This is one of the highest honors that a student can receive.   The finalist represent a fraction of one percent of all high school seniors in the country.

Sam has maintained a 4.0 GPA at SCPS while being heavily involved in extracurricular activities such as the basketball team, the tennis team, the Math Team, National Honor Society, Quiz Bowl, Science Bowl, the Environmental Club, Key Club and Beta Club. In addition, this year Sam founded the Savannah Christian Prep Service Club.  Congratulations, Sam!!
