The 2017 Lady Raider soccer team had an exciting, intense, and sometimes frustrating season. The team lost against opponents that they were predicted to win against, but also overcame much stronger opponents, such as Camden County, where they won 2-1. Some highlights of the season include winning against Savannah Arts twice, and beating Calvary 2-0, Claxton 8-0, and Woodville-Tompkins 10-0. The girls succeeded at region, defeating Treutlen 9-0 and went to the second round of state playoffs, where they unfortunately lost against Pinecrest Academy. In summary, the girls gained much experience from this season and have set goals of going further in state playoffs next year.
