More than 1,000 grandparents and special friends filled the Chatham Parkway campus and the DeRenne Avenue campus today as Pre-Kindergarten through second grade on both campuses honored these special visitors. After a patriotic salute, as well as the pledges and sharing the weekly Bible verse, the students welcomed the grandparents and special friends to their classrooms and resource classes sharing samples of their work including art projects as well as giving them each a special handmade gift. Grandparents from as far as Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, and even France and Malaysia, made an extra special trip to participate in today’s festivities.

Friday, October 24th will continue to celebrate this day when grades 3rd- 5th welcome their guests to the Eckburg Center to enjoy their special performance.  Both students from the Chatham Parkway and DeRenne Avenue campuses will join together in this special occasion which will begin at 9:30 am.
