Dear SCPS family,
On behalf of the SCPS Board of Trustees, I am happy indeed to announce the implementation of the campus-consolidation plan communicated last spring by the Board. Ahead of the announced August 2017 date, SCPS will welcome the DeRenne Avenue Lower School grades (PK-5) to the Chatham Parkway campus in August 2016. After much planning, the school will incorporate grades PK-5 into the Chatham Parkway campus for the 2016-2017 school year. As planned, the Middle School classes (grades 6-8) will join the Chatham Parkway school community in August 2017. After years of careful planning and prayerful discernment, SCPS will be one step closer to its goal of “One School, One Campus.” It truly is a great time to be a Raider!
