Savannah Christian Preparatory School began life in union with Jesus Christ as Evangelical Bible Institute.

The school’s founders were Bible believing Christians who were answering God’s call to build a school where “the Bible is first.” Such enthusiasm for a biblically centered Christian education still thrives today at SCPS. Developing the whole person to the glory of God, articulates our mission to obey the Bible’s great commandment to love God with our whole mind as well as with everything else. One way to love God is to know and love God’s work. The pursuit and gathering of truth, i.e., learning, whether in science, history, mathematics, art, music or literature, in a spiritual way attaches us to God. At Savannah Christian Preparatory School our efforts to integrate faith, learning and service are not just to prepare our students for college, but more importantly, for a lifetime of learning and building the kingdom God.
