New Middle School Principal

Jamie Bopp

Originally from Fort Wayne, IN, Mr. Bopp is a 2003 graduate of Wabash College, where he was a two-time captain of the Wabash College Football Team. Mr. Bopp has served in various roles (teacher, coach, and principal) at Merritt Island Christian School since 2005. Mr. Bopp and his wife, Jamie, have been married since 2009 and are the parents of two beautiful daughters: Peyton (7) and Ryleigh (5).

Mr. Bopp believes that God called him into the mission field of education to impact lives for Him.  “My career in education has allowed me the opportunity to serve the Lord by helping others.  I was introduced to coaching, which introduced me to teaching, which introduced me to educational leadership.”

Earning his master’s degree in educational leadership from the American College of Education in 2013, Mr. Bopp shared that “being a principal has been so rewarding. The opportunity to lead others has been inspiring.  I was honored to be named the 2017 Brevard County Breakfast of Champions Administrator of the Year.”

“When my wife and I visited SCPS, we immediately fell in love with the school.  First and foremost, we absolutely loved the people.  We quickly learned that Southern hospitality truly does exist.  The people exemplified a warm and welcoming joy with a genuine pride for SCPS.  The Bopp Family is extremely excited to be a part of the Savannah Christian Family!”

It’s a great day to be a Raider!
