The 15th annual Reflections Art Show was another creative success for SCPS and the hundreds of artists who submitted over 850 pieces of artwork from PreK-12th grade.   A talented and diverse group of judges are selected each year by our SCPS Arts Council to select special pieces of work to be awarded ribbons in different groups and mediums.
This year’s Best in Show was awarded to 12th grader, Sabrina Harn.  The piece is titled, “Skull” and was made in graphite and white charcoal.

“Best Advance Placement Portfolio” went to Sarah Floyd as the judges were impressed by Floyd’s meticulous craftsmanship in her work involving vintage cookware.

Tenth grader Jana Parsons took the 2nd place in the AP Portfolio division based on her expressive approach to the topic of animal cruelty.

Our headmaster, Dr. David Pitre awarded the Headmaster’s Award to Sage Luo’s acrylic portrait.  Sage is part of our International Program as she is from China.

Most notable know for his athletic prowess, Demetris Robertson’s piece “Cut It” was selected as his best piece in his AP portfolio.
