Savannah Christian Preparatory School is delighted to announce that Senior, Angela Kaye, signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer at LaGrange College on Wednesday, April 13.  Surrounded by her friends and family, Angela signed at 1:15 pm under the canopy of the pecan grove at the Chatham Parkway campus.  She is the daughter of David and Theresa Kay of Richmond Hill, GA.

Angela is highly successful in the classroom and is receiving an academic scholarship along with the opportunity to play for the Division III school located in west Georgia.   Angela earned yearly honor roll her junior year along with yearly high honor roll her freshman and sophomore years all while taking advanced course work including AP classes.  Angela also earned an invitation into the National Honor Society for her exemplary grades and service to her community.

Angela’s ability to juggle the pace of the academic curriculum and the demands of being a committed, student athlete have prepared her well to move from high school academics and athletics to the collegiate level.  Angela hopes to make an impact on the LaGrange Panther team with her ability to put points on the board.  As a freshman she scored 11 goals followed by 17 goals her sophomore year.  So far into her senior season she has 12 goals.  Her skills earned her a place on the Savannah Morning News’ All-Greater Savannah Lady’s Soccer team in 2013 and 2014.

LaGrange College is a great fit for Angela as she plans to major in their business or accounting program.  The college allows her to continue playing soccer, the sport she loves, on the collegiate level in a small school atmosphere where is excited to meet all new people.
