Savannah Christian Prep School­­­ students place among top winners in the 2015 Quill and Scroll Yearbook Excellence Contest.

Quill and Scroll International Honorary Society, in partnership with Balfour, Herff Jones, Jostens, Picaboo, and Walsworth yearbook companies, congratulate Savannah Christian Prep School students on their outstanding work in the Yearbook Excellence Contest. National Award winners in division A include Madison Hayes with three winning entries for Advertising.

High school students who are contributors to or on the yearbook staff at any public or private high school were invited to enter the competition.

Over 1,800 entries were evaluated in the 2015 contest. The professionals serving as judges commended the heightened creativity of the winners. The judges also commented on the fine reporting, in-depth captions, and strong visual packages of the winning pieces.

Awards were presented in 18 divisions, and in two enrollment categories. The contest yielded 36 sweepstakes winners and 321 National Award winners. Gold Keys, plaques, and the opportunity to apply for college journalism scholarships were awarded to the winning yearbook staff members.

The Yearbook Excellence Contest is conducted annually by Quill and Scroll, an honor society for high school journalism students, which has encouraged and recognized academic and journalistic excellence since 1926. Approximately, 7,000 high school journalists in member-schools located around the globe are annually inducted into Quill and Scroll Honor Society.
